Learning another language is not an easy endeavour and finding the right tutor can take time. Tutoring is more than having the right qualifications and experience. They are important, but they do not automatically guarantee success and good rapport.
For me, tutoring is also about

=> Care
...and making German interesting and relevant.
My goal is to make my lessons personal, my material useful and my time meaningful. As a registered and practising secondary teacher (German Yr 7-12, Careers Counselling), I believe that a one-on-one approach (whether online or in-person) is most beneficial for a student's progress and learning. I can assist students with homework, understanding and improving grammar and vocabulary, presentations, essays, orals, VCE / HSC / SACE preparation, and exams (both written and oral) and will provide relevant materials. The structure of lessons is flexible and depends on the requirements, expectations, and learning styles of each student.
I am offering tutoring online via Skype, MicrosoftTeams, FaceTime, or Zoom as well as in person (depending on the distance).
