Hi I'm currently a second year UNSW student studying bachelor of actuarial studies and advanced mathematics.
With over 2 years of private tutoring experience, I am confident in my abilities of improving students' marks, ranks, targeting their weaknesses, but still providing a positive, welcoming and friendly environment where students feel comfortable in. I like to start by assessing the student's current level of understanding and identifying any areas where they need additional support. From there, I work to create a lesson plan that incorporates a variety of teaching techniques, including visual aids, hands-on activities, and interactive discussions. Throughout the tutoring sessions, I encourage my students to ask questions and engage in critical thinking to develop a deeper understanding of the material. I have a thorough understanding of what schools are looking for, with a plethora of resources, such as practice questions and exams that I am able to provide.
