Hi, my name is Mihda and I am a Baulkham Hills High School graduate and a medical student at UNSW. I am not only knowledgeable about the new syllabus but can also provide a wide range of practice questions and extensive feedback. As a student I was never particularly naturally talented and found it more difficult than my peers to grasp concepts, however throughout the years, I developed study strategies which allowed me to improve immensely. 📚 UCAT 📚
Whilst many individuals attribute success in the UCAT to luck and natural skills, it is important to recognise the significant role of strategy and consistent practice. Through my own experience in navigating this tricky test, I have developed several methods that can be employed to tackle the vast range of question types you will encounter in your exam.
Within our lessons, we will explore each subsection - VR, DM and QR and solve questions together. Throughout this process, I will provide detailed insight into how I approached the question, tips on time management, ways to use the calculator and whiteboard, etc.
📚 Interviews 📚
As the final stage, interviews often make or break a student’s medical school application. However, with a detailed understanding of the interview process and thorough preparation, you will be able to gain a spot in your dream degree!
In our lessons, you will first learn the ‘theory’. This includes: how to structure an answers, what sort of anecdotes you should have prepared and university specifics. We will then move onto practice questions, where you will be able to apply the techniques we would have covered. And finally, we will complete mocks which simulate the question types and time constraints of a real interview.
