Hi my name is Parisa and I currently completing my Honours for Psychology at the Australian National University! My HSC subjects were Advanced English, Advanced Mathematics, Extension History, Modern History, Legal studies and Studies of Religion. I achieved an Atar of 93 and a certificate of Distinguished Achievement. I have been tutoring students for the past four years, working with learners across different ages and ability levels. My approach is patient, supportive, and tailored to each individual student. I focus on creating a comfortable environment where students feel confident asking questions, making mistakes and actively engaging in their learning. I aim not only to help students understand their subjects, but also to build their confidence, independence, and study skills. I take the time to understand how each student learns best and adapt my teaching accordingly, whether that means breaking down complex concepts, reinforcing foundational skills, or helping them prepare for assessments. Supporting students as they grow in both ability and confidence is the most rewarding part of tutoring for me, and I am committed to helping each student reach their full potential.
