Passionate and Enthusiastic tutor! [Band 6 for English Advanced, Biology, Society and Culture, SOR, Music 1. 95.3 ATAR] Hello! My name is Lucy and I'm a high achieving Physiotherapy student at The Australian Catholic University! I have four years of consistent tutoring experience, I'm friendly, and outgoing and looking for new students to help succeed. I now specialise in HSC level English Advanced, and Society & Culture. I can also confidently tutor Biology and Music 1! I also offer assistance for Society and Culture major work concept development, research process, drafting and refining. I scored a 38/40 on my PIP, as well as scoring First Place in my school at Society and Culture in both years Years 11 and 12. I know you have gone above and beyond, thank you. 🙏🙏 My journey through Years 11 and 12 was filled with enthusiasm, but it was not without many learning curves. I firmly believe that high school academic successes come through a strong and persistent work ethic. My tutoring approach first focuses on developing strong fundamental understandings, because I know from my own experiences that this is where students find their love for learning. Once we have worked on this together, I take on the role of enthusiastic and encouraging partner to my students. I love challenging and pushing my students academically to reach their brightest potential and see the most success in their results. I graduated in 2022 from St Vincents College Potts Point, from which I absorbed a vast range of teaching methods to maximise exam results and help students unlock a deeper understanding of how their subjects are asking them to approach study. Above all, I hope to develop a great relationship with each and every one of my students, extending my mentorship beyond the syllabus and becoming a part of their wide network of support during the HSC journey.
