I'm currently a second-year student at the Queensland Conservatorium of Music, majoring in Composition. I have a year of experience in instrumental teaching (2022), though I took a break from teaching to focus on my studies and instrument practice in 2023. I have a GPA of 6.1, and received a credit in performance of Viola at AMEB 8 level.
At the Conservatorium, you are assessed on academic writing, practical examinations, and original compositions, so I make myself available to teach any of these disciplines depending on the needs or desires of students. I am open to discussing the creative goals of students, no matter how unorthodox.
I teach all years of high school English, academic writing, and creative writing,
Academic writing for classroom visual arts, music, and music extension.
Music composition and songwriting in classical, avant-garde, indie, or R&B styles.
Viola and violin up to AMEB 5 level, and beginner/preliminary cello and guitar.
I moved from the Sunshine Coast to Brisbane last year, and can now do home visits in Keperra and surrounding areas like The Gap, Ferny Grove, Ashgrove, Enoggera, Everton Park, Alderley, or Windsor.
