Hi I’m Jake! I am a first year university student currently at the University of Technology Sydney studying a Bachelor of Molecular Biotechnology majoring in Medical Biotechnology. I love maths, learning new things and helping others. I’m kind, compassionate, patient and enthusiastic in my teaching style. I am proficient in strengthening mathematical understandings and basic concepts for year 7-12 students. However, I always strive to advance students by providing tougher questions and concepts to better replicate and prepare for examination style questions. I can also teach English, PDHPE and chemistry for years 7-12 and biology and physical sciences for years 7-10. -note my texts for HSC English for year 11 was Othello and for year 12 were The Crucible, The Tempest and TS Eliot’s poems. My subjects for year 12 were: -Mathematics Advanced -Mathematics Extension 1 -English Advanced -PDHPE -Chemistry -Physics I received a band 6 in maths advanced, E3 in maths extension 1 and achieved an ATAR of 91.70. I also obtained 88% overall in English advanced and received my highest mark in the final HSC examination at 92%. No matter what learning capabilities students currently have, I can improve individual’s confidence and competency in an uplifting, rather surprising and comfortable manner!
