Hi! My name is Vidun, and I am a dental student who recently graduated from The King's School, Parramatta. I'm offering comprehensive tutoring for HSC Mathematics, Biology, Physics, and English, as well as tutoring for primary school students, including the selective high school exams, and NAPLAN.
Experience:
I am highly experienced in mentoring students with current and ongoing roles as an Academic tutor at the King's School, as well as 3 years of experience as a private tutor. During the last 2 years, I have helped 30+ HSC, and primary students to overcome their Academic hurdles, and to enhance their responses to different styles of questions. During these sessions I have helped countless students in the school to excel in various subjects, particularly in maths, science, and english.
I believe that a thorough understanding of theory is necessary before all else. I like to approach each student and their needs individually, and love to work alongside their parents to understand their Goals. I then prepare slides that are in accordance with guidelines set by the Government Education Standard (NESA), and help students in navigating the theory throughly. However, it's certainly true from my personal experience that theory, although solid in helping you understand, can only take you so far. So I highly encourage my students to go through past papers, and questions, and I help them to overcome any difficulties that they may be facing. I understand that due to time constraints, writing elaborate long responses is far from the best approach, instead prioritising the need to break down the question and answer the key terms that have been provided.
