I am currently studying a Bachelor of Science/Science (Computer Science) at UNSW and plan to major in Mathematics. With over 2 years of both private and group tutoring, I have been able to work with a variety of students and understand the importance of preparing a lesson specifically catered to each student and thus maximizing exam marks. Additionally, I believe that my studies of mathematics in university strengthens the quality of my lessons as it allows me to explain topics on a much more conceptual level. 2022 HSC Results - Mathematics Extension 1 - 95 - Mathematics Extension 2 - 96 My style of tutoring is tailored to each student, and I am highly adaptable in how I teach. Each lesson will be provided with all the necessary tools such as textbooks and resources, as well as going over material upon the student's request. We will work together to assess areas that need improvement and understand the fundamentals of each concept to eventually have the chance to extend upon them. Typically, my lessons are structured as following: 1) Going through last week's homework 2) This week's content and theory 3) Application of theory - practice and exam style questions 4) QnA and provision of homework As a tutor, I aim to improve not only their understanding of content, but also their exam technique, confidence and most importantly, their study habits. My rates are $55/hr for Extension 1 and $60/hr for Extension 2. For all other levels of maths, my rate is $45/hr.
