About

Hi, my name is Lana and I graduated from Fort Street High School in 2022 with an ATAR of 97.00. I am a passionate tutor who offers tutoring for Primary School Mathematics, Year 7-10 Mathematics and Mathematics Advanced (Year 11 and 12), in which I achieved a mark of 97/100 in the HSC. I offer one-on-one lessons online (via Google Meet) for $60/hour or in person at Concord Library for $70/hour. If you'd like to form a group with some friends, I also offer online group lessons for $40/hour. For online lessons, I use a touch screen laptop so that it is easy for students to follow along. My teaching style is adaptive to each student and I have many resources including past papers, practice questions and topic summaries. I'd love to share these with you to help you succeed. It has been an absolute blessing to have Lana as my daughter’s Math tutor since August ’23. Lana with her warm personality was able to naturally establish a genuine connection with her from the first lesson, creating a supportive learning environment where no question is a bad question. Lana meticulously explains each Math rule as applied in the working out of each problem, lighting up many wonderful lightbulb moments in her, and slowly building up her confidence in Math.

Lana started tutoring my year 8 son who was struggling understanding maths. His marks were low and with the personalised approach from Lana he began to feel more confident and his marks improved. Lana also tutors my daughter in year 5 and she too is beginning to feel more confident with the maths concepts. Lana is patient, kind and trustworthy… she is generally interested in my children’s outcomes also setting up quizzes in google classroom for them to practice during the week. I highly recommend her!

Lana was of great help for my son who was struggling in Maths. Her online lessons were set out very efficiently with multiple tools including a white board. Lana also set up a google classroom with several resources to help my son learn effectively. She’s also flexible with her lessons and affordable with her price for the great quality of lessons. Evidently, he received 90% in his maths Standard Trial Exam. Highly recommend.
