MED STUDENT: 97.1 ATAR: 4+ years tutoring in BIOLOGY, FRENCH and ENGLISH
I am currently in my third year of medicine. I graduated in 2021 with a Bachelor of Science, majoring in Neuroscience (First Class Honours) and a Diploma of Languages, French (First Class Honours) from the University of Melbourne. I am an experienced tutor, working for my university in the writing department to help undergraduate students with all kinds of assignments.
As a medical student, I have a thorough understanding of science, with a particular interest in biology. For students looking to apply to post graduate medicine, I have the skills and experience to offer coaching and preparation for the application process including panel interviews.
Beyond medicine, I am passionate about French language studies and have provided tutoring to high school and university students in the past. I have a C1 level of French. I am skilled and equipped to offer support to students in French grammar, pronunciation and writing as well as general conversation.
My teaching style is centred around developing a strong rapport with students and encouraging them to be enthusiastic about and confident in what they are studying in order to find learning techniques that best suit them.

Ava has been teaching me French intermittently for the past 10 years. Her expertise and attention to grammar, tense and expression is profound: her knowledge of the French language is extremely extensive. Not only is she genuinely fascinated by the language herself, but also with the French culture and community. Her impressive amount of time spent in France has allowed her to understand the language broadly, both formal and informal language is in her breadth of teaching.
She is a patient and fun tutor to have, always making my sessions with her an absolute pleasure. I would highly recommend her as a teacher!

Ava is an extremely personable and caring person. She has an exceptionally strong work ethic and follows through on her commitments. She is an academic all-rounder and high achiever. Ava will make an excellent and committed tutor.
