ATAR 99.05 // RAW 50 METHODS Hi!! I'm Yinan and I am currently studying data science at the University of Melbourne. I completed VCE in 2022 at Nossal High School with a 99.05 ATAR, achieving 40+ study scores in 4 of my subjects, as dux in unit 3/4 Mathematical Methods. As a student who has struggled with staying on top of their studies and grades in the past, I seek to instill passion in students for their subjects as I had for my own. Further, I can not only teach the knowledge and skills required for their subjects in vast depth, but also teach students study techniques and habits that are more efficient and effective for their own goals. I am able to provide help with current schoolwork that students are struggling on and further supply practice questions to bolster students' understanding of the topic/question they are not comfortable on. I may also individually teach content at a separate pace from school, as well as going through practice questions that will improve students' skills in applications. Online lessons can be taught on zoom or discord or other platforms that the student is comfortable with, and in person lessons are also available at a library or home visit.

Incredibly grateful to have found a tutor like Yinan for my younger brother! He is so friendly and easy to approach, makes my brother feel confident enough to speak up and engage in his lessons even though he's very shy. His patience and efficiency are also highly appreciated, as my brother is a slow learner but Yinan knows his content really well and manages to fit a lot within one hour. He sets himself from other tutors my brother has had before with his dedication to ensuring his students excel not just in their tutoring sessions but also in their schoolwork. He goes above and beyond what is required of him by contacting his students regularly with new resources and support to ensure they are regularly on top of their work and improving at a good pace.
