Hey! I am Owen, a university student who offers tutoring primarily in areas of English (Primary/HS/Yr11-12) and History (HS/Yr11-12). Having worked previously in Bridge Academy as a tutor for 2 years and currently as an English tutor at James Ann College, I am currently seeking to expand my tutoring services to cover more areas of English as well as History. Having always advocated for smaller classes or one-on-one lessons, I will accommodate my lesson structure towards your needs and goals. I primarily make my own teaching material, which means I am able to rapidly adapt to what you realistically require. I also am free to go over difficulties, questions and other queries to do with school lessons and work during, but also often outside of class hours. I will prioritize what YOU need over a set structure. To me, tutoring and teaching is a two-fold relationship; within education it is not only the student who is able to gain insight and knowledge from learning, but also the educator, who is constantly adapting, recalibrating and learning in the fields of constantly evolving subjects. As such I find enjoyment in teaching others in the subjects that I myself have found passion in. Rates are negotiable and depend on Year group, content and subject, with >Year 11s averaging $45, while Year 11 and 12 average $50/hr.
