📝Lesson structure:
My lessons are very student-specific, so I’ll constantly tailor them to suit your needs. This often includes going through the syllabus content at whatever pace you need at the time - whether that’s behind school for revision, same as school for extension, or ahead of school for preparation. Closer to exams, I’ll get you to do practice questions and past papers and thoroughly review them with you to help develop your exam technique. I can also go over any school hw or assessments, and you can ask me questions anytime. All lesson are held online via Zoom as this has the best flexibility for students and saves travel time, while the lesson content is the same as in person.
Throughout all lessons, I’ll share my tips and tricks to help you both understand the subject and then apply that knowledge in exams to get high marks, and also pinpoint specific areas of improvement so we can address them :) I aim to teach in an engaging and fun way, with lots of creative analogies, so you remember content and enjoy learning!

My experience with Naomi has been exceptional from start to finish. Naomi explains even the most complex concepts in a way that is clear, engaging, and easy to remember. Naomi’s knowledge, dedication and enthusiasm have helped me immensely throughout my time as her student. In the difficult transition into senior years of high school, lessons with Naomi have helped me overcome challenges I initially faced and achieve first place in Yr11 biology and first place in my HSC trials. Naomi has excellent understanding of concepts and familiarity with the stage 6 syllabus. She clearly communicates concepts in a way that is easy to grasp, not only teaching content at a surface level, but allowing me to also understand the reasons behind concepts. My friend and I had lessons with Naomi from ~term 2 of year 11 after a particularly rough term 😬 but since then I've felt so much more confident with bio
Our lesson structures and lesson times were super easily adjustable and customisable so that we could go over any specific struggles and cram in extra lessons before assessment tasks. Her method of teaching is super engaging, interactive and very visual so I found it much easier to retain info from our lessons + she also has *very* interesting and really funny analogies that unironically saved me during exams
Every lesson with Naomi is so much fun and so educational shes seriously one of the best tutors ever :)))

I would definitely recommend Naomi to another student as she was one of the best tutors I've had, and not only taught the content well in a manner that was easy to understand and recall, but also helped me with my exam technique and answering questions in a way that could maximise my marks. Having 1:1 lessons was extremely helpful to me as the lessons were structured such that less time could be spent on topics I found easy to understand, allowing more time for me to fully understand concepts that were personally difficult to grasp. She encouraged my curiosity and allowed me the time to make links between the content in the syllabus and my prior knowledge to gain a more holistic understanding of the subject, and provided many helpful and comprehensive resources and notes throughout the year. I truly enjoyed every lesson I had with her :)

Naomi is honestly one of the best tutors I have ever had <3333. I decided to pursue biology tutoring mid year 12 in order to improve my rank, and honestly Naomi quite literally saved my biology HSC. I went from below average in the grade (below rank 30) to rank 5 in our year 12 biology trial examination. She has a super unique teaching style which is super engaging and made me understand really difficult concepts in an easy and fun way. Her notes are also incredibly detailed (and super helpful) and above all she is just such a bubbly tutor, making every session enjoyable :DDD
