Hey, I’m Christian! I graduated from Oakhill College in 2019 with an ATAR of 98.10, and am currently completing a Bachelor of Laws and Commerce at USYD! I offer tutoring for the following subjects, across years 9-12: English (Advanced & Standard), Economics, Business Studies/Commerce and 2U Studies of Religion. My HSC marks for the above subjects are as follows: English Advanced: 93/100 Economics: 94/100 Business Studies/Commerce: 95/100 2U Studies of Religion: 93/100 For Economics and Business Studies, I provide my students with comprehensive notes and additional resources, whilst engaging in step-by-step discussions of the content to ensure understanding. I also hope to relay theoretical information in a way that enables my students to understand its practical relevance and application in real-world instances. Subject to the student’s requests and academic level, most sessions will involve a breakdown of course content, drawings from syllabus and practical examination questions. For English, I have extensive familiarity with the new syllabus, being the first cohort to complete it, coupled with 3 years of ongoing tutoring success. Therefore, I seek to assist students approach their texts via the lens of the new rubric, whilst exploring writing techniques that will translate to alternative subjects and future study.
