Having gone through the HSC in 2021 from Hornsby Girls High School as an all-rounder with a 99.55 ATAR and tutoring year 11 and 12 for 1 year, I have a thorough understanding of the new syllabus in Biology, Chemistry, Maths Ext and Maths Advanced. Lessons involve covering all theory thoroughly through pre-made powerpoints as well as going through HSC style practice questions. This allows students to feel confident in all aspects of the syllabus having gone through the content and exam questions. I will also focus on exam technique and mastering past paper questions in order to maximize marks in exams. By offering 1 on 1 tutoring, I am able to personalize lessons based on individual student’s strengths and weaknesses and hand pick questions and topics they struggle with to ensure they feel comfortable and prepared with content and different question types. I have also got 2 years of teaching experience where I have been able to assist students with developing the necessary skills and techniques to efficiently answer questions, and cater to their specific weaknesses. By recently completing the HSC, I have a wide resource bank with access to numerous past papers and questions relevant to the new syllabus which I share with students. I am currently a medical student studying at the University of Newcastle and offer 1 on 1 medical interview training, specifically for MMI (multiple mini interview). Having gotten into both University of Newcastle and the University of Queensland for medicine I am confident on how to structure and answer various interview questions for students.
