I have been a tutor for many years working with students from primary school through to adults at University.
I adopt a holistic approach working to improve not just understanding of the concept area, but also improve confidence, exam strategies and time management skills.
I am the senior tutor at the Northmead Centre and work in conjunction with other tutors.
Tuition fees start from $65 per hour.
Over 30 years teaching experience in the primary, secondary and TAFE sectors of eductaion.
Hold several degrees including B.A, B. Soc. Science, Master Education - Psychology (Sydney Uni) and a Doctorate (Ph. D)
Teaching areas include: mathematics from primary to HSC level and English from primary to high school.
Science (Years 7 - 10).

I completed my HSC in 2022 and achieved a band 6 in standard mathematics. The assistance that I received from my tutor, Dr Peter Day made this result possible. I struggled during year 11 (due to the lockdowns and the fact that our Year 12 class maths teacher became sick and we had a replacement who wasn’t very helpful). Peter gave me the confidence and patiently explained the concepts that I struggled with. I highly recommend Peter as a tutor who is both experienced and knowledgeable in teaching mathematics. I gained entry into uni. and enrolled in a teaching degree. Peter inspired me to take up teaching as a career. Many thanks for your assistance and patience with me.
