📗ABOUT ME: Hi, my name is Haraneesh Shah! I graduated from Girraween High School in 2022, receiving a 98.80 ATAR, earning me the distinguished high achievers award. I have amassed over 100 hours of one-on-one tutoring over the past 2 years. All my students have improved drastically on their assessment scores by over 10 per cent, after being tutored by me with most achieving Band 6 or being near the top of their respective grades. Throughout my primary and high school years, I had this desire to acquire knowledge, which then translated to sharing this with others. As a result, I began teaching struggling students during recess and lunch hours and over time watching them develop this desire to learn felt really satisfying. As a result, I began private tutoring and over these 2 years, helping students understand complex topics and bringing a smile to their faces once they figured it out is what made this experience so enjoyable. By having me as a private tutor, not only will I teach them complex topics but I will instil in them the desire to learn and show them how enjoyable it is to follow a path of lifelong learning. I have experience teaching high school and primary school students of different ages and abilities and teaching in an engaging manner that is tailored to ANY student. Having been a volunteer, a cricket player and working a part-time job in my senior years, I can also help develop their time management skills and hone their study techniques to become more efficient.
