Hi, I’m Casey! I believe a tutor should offer more than a second classroom. The goal is to give you a fresh perspective, an engaging, personal approach, and to cut through the fluff—so we focus on what matters most to you. I’ve been tutoring for almost three years now and I’m taking on new students for Term 2. I graduated in 2022 from TIGS (The Illawarra Grammar School) with an ATAR of 92.20, attending on a Foundation Scholarship. I’m currently studying Computer Science & Finance at the University of Sydney and am a STEM Cadet with the Australian Defence Force. I’m a Lifetime Member of the Beta Gamma Sigma Honor Society (top 10% of my cohort at the University of Sydney) and was named on the School of Computer Science Undergraduate High Honour Roll for maintaining a High Distinction average in 2024. My Year 12 Science Extension major work was recognised by the Australian Institute of Physics Magazine, and I received the Australian Future Innovators Award for ranking 1st in my cohort. I also took part in HICES debating, the Chemistry Olympiad, and served as Math Prefect in 2022. I tutor HSC Chemistry and Mathematics Advanced, as well as Year 10 Mathematics 5.3—and I plan to continue into 2026. Every session has a clear purpose: - Reviewing past, current, or upcoming syllabus content - Practising HSC-style questions and exam techniques - Marking and feedback on papers completed outside of sessions - Working through and providing feedback on hand-in assessment tasks Students value my attention to detail, patience, and ability to break down concepts—while keeping steady improvement across the year. I’m flexible with rescheduling and can add extra sessions around exam season. I’m on your team. As required by law, I can provide a valid Working With Children Check before any work begins. Pricing: - Pay-As-You-Go: $60/hr - Prepay 4 sessions: $55/hr (total \$220) - Prepay 10 sessions: $50/hr (total \$500) Limited-time offer: During the Jan holidays I usually offer a 25% discount on session pricing to incentivise catch up and/or getting ahead of the school. Conditions: - All prepaid sessions expire at the end of the calendar year in which they’re purchased. - If less than 3 hours’ notice is provided (except in exceptional circumstances), the session fee is forfeited.
