About

Hi everyone! I’m Bowen and I’m a 2nd year Bachelor of Psychology student at Monash Uni in 2024. Psychology has been long been a major passion in my life since prior to my VCE journey, before it became my best and favourite class, which ultimately led me to pursuing this passion further in university. As a tutor, I’m very student-focussed and I make it a priority to cater my lessons to suit my students’ unique preferences and learning styles. Since studying VCE psychology myself in Year 10, I have committed countless hours into helping my peers, as well as organised tutoring lessons with students to best optimise the grades and learning experiences of psychology students around me, and I'm endlessly excited to share my knowledge and expertise with aspiring psychology students! The students who I’ve helped in the past have found my approach helpful and specific for their needs, bringing them success. A few points about myself and my tutoring: - 🎓 Raw 46 Psychology Study Score in 2021 - 📝 Free resources (e.g. practice sacs) produced by myself + reviewed and verified by VCE Psychology Exam Assessors - 💯 Scaled 90/90 (Unit 3) and 100/100 (Unit 4) SAC results respectively — 100% final SAC scores - 🧠 2-Year VCE Psych tutoring experience w/flexible sessions + extensive and personalised feedback for exam responses. With the change in the psychology study design last year (in 2023), I carry over my experience from the previous study design in addition to tutoring students who were the first to learn the new study design. I've worked with Bowen for my VCE Psychology Unit 3/4 and I can honestly say he exceeded all my expectations. Bowen has exceptional knowledge of the study design, and tutored me on the most tricky aspects of it which helped me prepare for my SACS and end of the year exams, ultimately letting me achieve a high 40s study score. His notes and SACS were very helpful, and pointed out all my weaknesses so I could work on them. All in all, Bowen has been very professional and patient in explaining concepts, and knows VCE Psych in and out. He also tailored his teaching style based on what worked best for me, so I would definitely recommend him to everyone!

Bowen is the hardest worker I know. He's always dilligent to his studies and always maximises the effort he puts into his passions.
