ATAR: 99.30 UNSW Actuarial Studies/Computer Science student Tutoring Yr7-10 (Maths), Yr 11-12 (Maths Ext 1, Maths Adv) THREE YEARS OF TUTORING EXPERIENCE Received Band 6 in all English Advanced, Maths Extension 1, Physics and Chemistry I am a patient, organised, knowledgable and friendly tutor who will not only help improve your marks academically but also be there as a friend and mentor to help you through your high school years. I have a combination of professional and non-professional tutoring (3+ years of experience) and mentoring experience, and extremely passionate about teaching Maths and visually showing students concepts and ideas to deepen their understanding. Apart from helping you excel in your subjects, I'll also act as a great mentor to help guide you through high school, whether it be subject selection or what career you'll be interested in going into! I offer both online and in-person tutoring (traveling to your house or a local library). For online tutoring, I use Microsoft Teams and have my own iPad which I can use to annotate and hence conduct my lessons (it would be preferred the student also has a tablet or iPad which they can annotate on for online lessons). For my lessons, I use a combination of textbooks, my own resources and resources that I create personalised for the needs of the student. I also have plenty of notes and study tips/skills and having just graduated, I am also extremely familiar with the syllabus and content for the subjects I teach. Rate: My FIRST LESSON WILL BE FREE, allowing the student to experience my teaching and communication style whilst also allowing me to analyse the strengths and weaknesses of the student. Rate: One-on-One: Yr 7-10: $70/hour* Yr 11-12: $80/hour* Small group (2-4 people): Yr 7-10: $40/hour per person Yr 11-12: $60/hour per person *for in-person tutoring rates may increase depending on distance, however, I am happy to travel these locations (Castle Hill, Glenhaven, Cherrybrook, Norwest, Bella Vista, Dural, Kellyville, Baulkham Hills) For my HSC in 2022, I completed English Advanced, Chemistry, Physics, Mathematics Extension 1 & Mathematics Extension 2 I’m currently studying Bachelor of Actuarial Studies/Bachelor of Computer Science at UNSW.
