About

I am currently studying Bachelor of Advanced Computing (Honours) (Research and Development) at Australian National University with an outstanding GPA of 6.875 (out of 7). I graduated high school in 2021 with IB score of 42 (out of 45) (the equivalent of 99.20 in ATAR). I can confidently say I am particularly strong in mathematical/scientific subjects, as I have successfully received 7 (out of 7) for IB Mathematics: Analysis and Approaches HL, IB Physics HL and IB Chemistry HL. The fact that I received an A for IB Mathematics Extended Essay also corroborates how much passion I have towards Mathematics. I strongly believe that Mathematics is, after all, a sophisticated way to express our thoughts like any other language. With this mindset, I am willing to make sure my students truly understand the essence of a mathematical concept rather than simply memorising it without understanding 'why' and 'how'. This way, they can truly be better at Mathematics, which will inevitably lead to an improvement of their score, rather than simply chasing for a better score. I am happy to plan customised studying tactics that fit individual students.

Geun is definitely great tutor in the long-term, as He always try to understand a current situation and set up a right direction based on students' needs. with this approach, Geun make the sutdent to understand the core/ principle and then be ready to enjoy the study by themselves. Namely, He will help students to develop the fundamental abailites how to understand, interpretate, analysize and apply to others. Especailly, he has showed an outstanding performance in the Math. He is really enjoying to split omplex principles into more simplified concepts so as to fully understand even complicated concepts and eventually apply to other problems. If you want to be better student in a basic attitude and qualification as well as exam score, Geun will be the best choice for you!
