My name is Freddie, and I'm a recent graduate from the Master of Theatre (Directing) program at the Victorian College of the Arts. I am a playwright & director mainly but enjoy tutoring where and when I can. In the past, I have focused on helping students interpret their teacher's feedback on previous exams and assessments, locating where this might be best placed in these previous tasks and practicing this with the work they have already done before putting it into action for upcoming assessments. I have worked with senior school students in exam preparation for their English exams, developing a strategy to take into the examination room with them so that they are armed with the best chances to producing work that they feel proud of. I only focus on the work assigned by the student's classroom teacher so as to act as a support to what happens at school. I do not view my role as the tutor as an extra teacher in the student's learning and so we focus on previous or upcoming assessments or assigned homework by the teacher. This allows the student to maintain a level of focus on their school texts. [Please note: Cancellation within 24 hours of the tutoring session will result in clients being charged half of their session price. Cancellation of 12 hours or less will result in the full cost being charged.]
