Bonjour ! 🏫 🇫🇷 University educated French teacher passionate about the teaching the language. I'm an enthusiastic, friendly and competent French teacher based in Canberra with several years experience teaching high school students, including Higher School Certificate (HSC) and International Baccalaureate (IB) students. I studied French in my undergraduate degree at Monash University before completing a Master of Journalism at the same institute. I also have experience working for the French Ministry for Europe and Foreign Affairs. Sharing my knowledge of French is my passion and I enjoy helping others improve their skills in a warm and disciplined manner. To date, I have taught both private and groups lessons. My lessons are based on the Common European Framework of Reference for languages (CEFR), which organises language proficiency in six levels. This framework is widely used by educational institutions and informs the NSW and international baccalaureate curriculums. I tailor my lessons to the individual needs of my students. Each lesson is made up of conversation practice, grammar, and reading and writing exercises.
