Hi! I am a first year student at Sydney University studying Political Science and International Relations. My subjects in year 12 were; English Advanced, English Extension One, English Extension Two, Modern History, Maths Standard and PDHPE.
I have a passion for English and a deep appreciation for literature. Not to mention, I love to read!
My teaching style is goal focused. I believe that identifying a student's weaknesses and strengths will allow for their short-term and long-term goals to be achieved. I also teach skills that are applicable to all areas of study. This includes; analysis skills, essay writing skills, comprehension skills, revision and study skills and question deconstruction strategies.
I give extensive and detailed feedback on essays. I also build up essay writing analysis skills for students to excel in all areas of study. I have a passion for creative areas and students should be able to explore this in their English studies through creative writing processes.
I am available for online and face-to-face tutoring. I am happy to travel further, just let me know what area you are in! I also am able to give feedback on essays and writing pieces alone.
