My name is Jessica and I am currently a second year student at the University of Sydney studying a Bachelor of Psychology (Honours) and minoring in neuroscience. No matter what stage you're at I'm confident that I can help enhance your understanding of class content and significantly improve your grades! I'm a very approachable and patient person and a very firm believer in the idea that good grades come so much easier with a teacher that is knowledgeable but also an effective communicator. I know firsthand that the school workload can seem daunting and become overwhelming very quickly but I am a very big proponent of achieving balance and working smarter rather than harder. Time dedicated to your studies shouldn't come at the expense of your social life, co-curriculars or mental-health and I think that a receptive and passionate teacher makes all the difference! I have a thorough level of understanding in the areas for which I offer tuition so that I can explain topics in numerous ways and accomodate different styles of teaching to cater to each individual student. I graduated from Sydney Girls High School in 2021 with a 99+ ATAR and achieved a band 6 in the following subjects: Advanced English Extension 1 English Extension 1 Maths Extension 2 Maths Chemistry I also achieved a first place rank at Sydney Girls in English for three years and a Distinction in the International Chemistry Olympiad. I am based in Maroubra but offer online and in-person tutoring in the Eastern Suburbs Area for all levels of Chemistry, English and Maths (excluding 4U/Extension 2).
