I graduated from Baulkham Hills High School in 2019 as an NSW All-Round Achiever with an ATAR of 99.70. I achieved a 97 in Chemistry (BHHS internal rank 4) and a 94 in Physics (BHHS internal rank 9). I specialise in Science Tuition only as my studies in university (Medicine) have furthered my understanding in these areas. I only offer HSC Chemistry and Physics (Only Year 12). Due to my time constraints, I do not offer Mathematics, UCAT or Interview teaching, but will happily give guidance to my students if they are interested in a career in medicine. I am very passionate about teaching, starting from a very young age when I would love to teach my friends in primary school. I was a marker and tutor at Pre-Uni New College and CS Education during high school. In Year 12, a few other students and I organised lessons to teach the entire cohort Chemistry and Physics for the months leading up to the HSC. In 2020 and a portion of 2021, I was a tutor and class teacher at Intuition Education Australia - one of NSW's most well-known tutoring institutions. I have been private tutoring for 5 years now with exceptional results across all my Physics and Chemistry students. For example: - One of my students last year received a HSC mark of 97, and an internal rank of 5th at a top selective school, an improvement from the bottom quartile at the end of Year 11. - One of my students improved from a rank outside the top 120 in the cohort to scoring within the top 20 in the trials in the space of 6 months. - Another student achieved 75 as an assessment mark from school and scored 86 in the HSC, a drastic improvement from the trial examinations. Working hours: I am generally free on most days (subject to change if I need to do on-call or night shifts during some of my hospital rotations). I am also very flexible with lessons and do not charge any fees if you need to reschedule if I am provided with ample time to reschedule. Pricing: Individual classes (1 on 1): $75/hour Group classes (max 2 in person, 4 on zoom): Reach out to confirm prices Note: The $75/hour rate is far less than most other tutors with comparable qualifications, who are requesting $100/hour in most cases. I usually conduct 1.5-hour or 2-hour classes so that we can get through the syllabus content whilst having time to practice questions. - All in-person lessons for this and next year will be conducted at my house as I have access to my notes. I am located in North Kellyville (close to Kellyville and Rouse Hill in the Hills District). - For those who can't travel to in-person lessons, I offer zoom classes as well, where I use my iPad to enhance the interactive experience. I am taking a maximum of 3 new students due to the amount of clinical experience I have to undergo in my final Year of Medicine. I can start lessons immediately (however it will be quite difficult to do more than one class a week due to the time I need to put into my current HSC students).
