About
Hi! I'm Juna and I'm a freelance journalist. Over the past seven years working in the media industry, I have been fortunate enough to write for Australia's leading publications including news. com. au, Body+Soul, Women's Health, Lifehacker, The Daily Telegraph, Harper's Bazaar, Network 10, Channel Void and Bed Threads, just to name a few.
I graduated from Presbyterian Ladies College in 2013 with a 97.00 ATAR and went on to study a Bachelor of Communications (Journalism) at UTS. During my schooling years, I was Junior School Captain in 2007 and School Vice Captain in 2013. I participated in ISDA debating throughout high school, represented my school multiple times at The Model United Nations (THIMUN) in Singapore and completed Drama for my HSC. I have acquired media voice training, completed the AFTRS TV & Radio Presenting Intensive Short Course and hold a Certificate of Communication ASCA qualification.
I started speech training from a very young age and speech eisteddfods became a normal part of my monthly routine. I have coached multiple family and friends for a variety of reasons — debating, competitions, assignments and even just for self-confidence and improvement. I believe obtaining such a skill has been pivotal to both my professional and personal development, which is why I have a passion for helping anyone needing speech, voice or public speaking training. Or, if you're interested in journalism, speech writing or performance, I would definitely be able to help with that, too.
I teach classes online and I'm sure I can work around my schedule to find a time that suits you for a tutoring session. Please reach out if you have any questions — I'd love to chat!
