Hi! My name is Angela and I graduated from North Sydney Girls High School in 2019 with an ATAR of 99.40 with the subjects mathematics Extension 1 & 2, Chemistry, Biology and English Advanced. I graduated from UNSW medical school in 2025 and currently I'm working as a junior doctor.
I am offering online homework assistance in mathematics advanced and extension 1, chemistry and biology. I have 6 years experience tutoring classes and privately and I've developed skills in teaching study techniques and strategies to not only improve understanding of content but to translate this understanding into exam marks.
One-on-one guidance is beneficial for students as I provide individualised feedback and work closely with students to identify and improve areas of weakness. I am also responsive to emails and texts and am happy to provide detailed online assistance throughout the week when available.
I hope that through my individualised marking of science responses and/or guidance towards answering mathematical questions, my students are able to learn and gain more insight into problem solving and applying the knowledge gained throughout their learning.
Please note that due my full time working commitments I am only able to offer online homework help through email correspondence and am open to organising occassional check in meetings through online platforms.
Rates:

Angela was an incredible tutor, she tutored me in Chemistry and Biology during years 11 and 12 and her dedication and organisation to always prepare our lessons with the most detailed explanations of many complex concepts really assisted me in reaching my potential during my final years of high school. I am very grateful for all she did and she is a fantastic tutor that would help any student to obtain great marks!

Working with Angela has been a very fruitful experience. To sum it up, I was ranked around the bottom 4 approaching the end of Y11 (in Maths Ext) and after weekly lessons with Angela for only a year, have finished Y12 ranked 4th (; Not a bad improvement).
Her unique approach to topics and questions is cohesive and transparent. This was very helpful for me as I previously had some trouble understanding a few concepts initially. Her efforts to prepare for the lessons created a structured way of conceptualising different topics in Maths, as her methodological approach broke down topics we were looking at into chronological steps.
While as a tutor it is important to deeply understand the content and how to express this to a student, a tutor's tone and attitude towards lessons underpin the student's attitude to their OWN learning and motivation. Angela's friendly and patient attitude during lessons helped me regain my confidence in Maths, which is arguably the very thing that drives good marks home.
I would for sure recommend Angela to anyone in need of a tutor who can help you exceptionally improve in their subject.

Angela is an incredibly efficient and compassionate tutor. Her communication is fantastic, and she is very easy to understand. Key features of an intelligent tutor are those who are warm, friendly and engaging. Angela is an amazing tutor and is very efficient when it comes to understanding the needs of students. Angela is tutor that is very thorough and took careful measures in helping me grasp a concept that I had forgotten in mathematics. She deals with each student differently and aims to work on that students weakness. I formed an amazing connection with Angela and would always look forwards to the lessons. Angela is an excellent and extremely qualified Maths tutor and a very inspiring mentor to my son for the last 2 years.
Angela is incredible responsible and reliable and always ask my son a few days before the lesson for his weak areas, so she can prepare for the lesson. At the end of each lesson, she allocated some work for my son to practise. Angela is very responsive and always responded my son’s enquires in time. With Angela’s hard work and dedication to my son, his maths result has improved significantly with Angela’s teaching.
Angela is also my son’s mentor. She has always been kind, friendly and caring and has great connection with my son. She has constantly guided my son on anything that he was confused or not sure of. Angela teaches very well and explains topics with clarity on a conceptual level that helped me better understand them when I was struggling in class. She always provides good guidance that helps me figure out a question and is also always willing to help outside of the lesson time. The materials she provides are all very useful and she also provides good tips on how to approach the topic, different question styles in topics, and how to approach the exam holistically. Her teaching was integral in helping me improve in maths so that I could do well in the HSC.
