|| 95.30 ATAR || 94 ENGLISH ADVANCED || ENGLISH TUTORING || MARIST COLLEGE KOGARAH 2022 GRADUATE Hi! My name is Kalan. I am a graduate of Marist College Kogarah, completing my HSC in 2022. I achieved an ATAR of 95.30, while receiving an English Advanced mark of 94. I offer tutoring services for English Advanced, Modern History and Personal Development, Health, and Physical Education (PDHPE). At Marist College Kogarah, I was first in course in English Advanced, PDHPE, Modern History and History Extension. However, my passion and specialty lies in the field of English. I understand more then most that English can be the most tedious and disheartening subject of all throughout high school. At the end of year 11 I was at the bottom of my cohort for English Advanced, however, by the end of year 12 I had achieved first place ranking, and sequentially, a mark of 94 in my English Advanced HSC. I know exactly how it feels to be at the bottom and at the top in relation to English and hence, this experience I have possesses me with the ability to know exactly how to improve results over the years of senior school. Under my guidance, Students have seen improvements up to 30% in their English results and this is because I work hard to understand them, and their learning style which allows me to cater my lessons to the students specific needs. My goal as a tutor is to not only supply my knowledge, experience, and examples of Band 6 essays, but to work one on one with my students and help deliver them the fulfilling sense of achievement and satisfaction obtaining their academic potential in English.
