94.45 ATAR | 2021 Graduate Hi! I am a first year Bachelor of Arts student at the University of Sydney majoring in English and Philosophy. I have two years of tutoring experience and have taught over 30 secondary students in one-on-one lessons, including 15 HSC students who I helped achieve a minimum of one grade improvement. I have in-depth knowledge of the NESA syllabus for Stage 5 and 6 English. I am a native Italian speaker and am passionate about English. I cater each lesson to my students’ needs depending on their learning style and love to help with class content, assignments, exam preparation, essay writing skills, and study techniques. I believe fostering and nurturing a love of learning in students is essential not only for their current schooling, but also for their success as lifelong learners of our world. My goal as a tutor, in which I find great fulfilment, is helping students grow in their confidence and enthusiasm to achieve what they are capable of. As I view both the tutor and the student being engaged in the learning process as learners themselves, I enjoy being challenged by students’ curiosity as they develop their critical thinking skills. I charge $65/hr for lessons and tutor online via Google Meet or Zoom, or $70 for in person.
