I have graduated from my Bachelor of Science (Medical Science) at The University of Sydney with an HD average. I am commencing the Doctor of Medicine this year at Macquarie University. I studied Biology, Chemistry, Geography, Maths Advanced, English Advanced, English Extension 1 and Science Extension. Throughout the past four years I have supported over twenty five students, ranging from Year 5 to Year 12, leveraging their interests and natural aptitudes to equip them to achieve their goals. I provide each student with robust support - including lesson planning, scheduling, syllabus review, resources, and questions. Whilst I have always had a love of learning, I have not always found school 'naturally easy'. My results were a result of pursuing genuine interests and prioritising a balanced lifestyle. I believe that achievement stems beyond school marks, and that improvement is yielded by changing an individual’s approach and having the support and understanding of someone who has navigated high school. I would love to evoke this passion for learning within students who are struggling in classes or aspire to be challenged further. Throughout my high school studies, I utilised diverse and unique study techniques which helped me to achieve my goals and make the most efficient use of my time. This allowed me to prioritise my physical and mental wellbeing during the most challenging years of high school! I would love to share how it is possible to excel academically while maintaining time with friends, family and pursuing hobbies. As a tutor, I would not only provide academic assistance and resources, but tailor my approach to lessons to specific individual needs and goals, drawing connections to different subjects and passions.
