About
Currently, I wear a number of different hats, as producer and host of a HealthTech podcast, Beyond the Medicine Cabinet; General Manager of a medical outreach service; and Editor of the Australian arm of the Innovation and Impact Scientific Technology and Business Journal. I am also currently completing my MBA with an Executive Ready Scholarship from Women in Leadership Australia.
I have a passion for communication, technology, and innovation and bring specific experience in researching topics, breaking down fundamental concepts, implementing better study habits, analytical decision-making, writing, and editing.
For the duration of my schooling life, I excelled in all compulsory school subjects. It was then difficult to differentiate what subjects I would undertake in year 12. I settled on English, Biology, Modern History, Mathematics, and Chemistry, and was fortunate enough to achieve band 6's in all of these subjects.
My teaching style is example-driven, going off the old adage "see one, do one, teach one". I am a firm believer that teaching through examples is the best mechanism for semantic learning (this is supported in empirical studies).
I believe that with my extensive educational background, and highly approachable teaching style, I can best assist in honing fundamental analytical skills (essential for English, and History) and outcome-focused learning (the key to succeeding in Biology).
