[Wait-list only] 97.2 ATAR || Hi! My name is Urszula. I am a passionate and experienced tutor in the field of Humanities, specifically in English and Literature. I love helping students reach their full academic potential using evidence-based teaching methods that are moulded to the individual learning style of the student.
I was my school dux in Global Politics, Theatre Studies and History: Revolutions. I achieved an ATAR of 97.2, a raw Study Score of 42 in Literature, 42 in Global Politics, 44 in Theatre Studies, 44 in Legal Studies and 44 in History: Revolutions.
I have a Bachelors Degree in Arts from the University of Melbourne where I majored in International Relations and Political Science and a minored in Art History. I am currently undertaking an Honours year where I am writing my thesis in Political Philosophy.
I offer tutoring for VCE Global Politics, Legal Studies, Literature, English, Theatre Studies, History: Revolutions and Art (written response) as well as English for years 9-10. I am able to help with any learning issues whether it be content understanding, exam technique, essay writing, study management, academic advice and more. In our sessions you make the decisions as to what we look at, for example if you’re struggling with how to integrate evidence into a literature essay I will provide a model which we will work through collaboratively to improve your understanding. I can also write practice exams for VCE students and read over work and provide detailed feedback.
As a University student I am also available to discuss the University admissions process including what Universities to preference based on student tastes, ambitions and learning styles and what VCE subjects to do to prepare for University and career.
