I am currently studying Medicine at UNSW and graduated from Ascham School in 2021. I am offering tutoring for Maths Standard 2, Maths Advanced, Maths Extension 1 and Music 2 for students in Years 11 and 12. I am also tutoring Maths, Science, and Music for students in Years 7-10. I have had extensive experience teaching students of all levels from primary school to Year 12, and my students have seen huge improvements. Additionally, I am a piano and flute teacher offering weekly lessons for ages 4 and up. In Maths, my main goal is to ensure that my students are equipped to tackle all the types of questions that they may encounter. To achieve this, I focus on breaking down challenging questions and explaining methods in different ways. I also focus on areas of weakness by reviewing topics, helping to explain homework questions, and providing my students with complex and difficult questions to further exercise their skills. I am able to adapt my teaching style to accommodate the different learning needs of each of my students so that they receive personalised lessons. Students will receive many of my resources such as questions and summaries. In Music, I aim to expose students to a variety of questions, as well as provide frameworks for students to answer specific short and long answer questions. I give valuable feedback on students' compositions and performance pieces. For piano and flute lessons, I aim to provide good foundations for students so that they may play a variety of styles, preparing students for AMEB piano examinations and AMEB/Trinity flute examinations. I also offer theory/musicianship lessons. I am very passionate about music, and I have won many eisteddfods and competitions. I am a patient and caring teacher, and I would like to share the joys of playing the piano and flute so that others may come to love music.
