About

Hey there, my name’s Sarah. Here are some of my qualifications: ///School Achievements: - 97.65 ATAR - Dux of Carinya Christian School - Band 6 (Top Scorer) Physics - Band 6 (Top Scorer) PDHPE - E4 (Top Scorer) Extension 1 Mathematics ///Uni Experience I’m studying a Bachelor of Chemical Engineering with a Masters of Biomedical Engineering at the University of New South Wales ///Tutoring Experience - Tutoring since 2018 with over 15 students - Selected as a KIS Academics expert tutor But that’s enough. After all you’re not here for me, you’re here for yourself or your son/daughter working through high school or studying for exams. You want to achieve your own individual potential and score the best marks possible in high school, achieve your dream results and eventually get into your desired uni course. As a recent high school graduate, I'm more than familiar with the stress and desire to achieve - and the difficulty of fitting this in with other important commitments like sports, social events, and downtime. During my time at high school, I competed in state-level netball competitions, completed my Gold Duke of Edinburgh, worked three part-time jobs (at once for a while - would not recommend haha!), and taught myself how to skateboard (a definite must during lunch breaks in lockdown! 😁), all whilst maintaining my grades. Alongside my academic studies (Biomedical Engineering at UNSW), I enjoy a range of hobbies: sports (netball and soccer in particular!), journalling, sunrise runs (or coffees... hey, sometimes you need a break), and I'm a sucker for country music! I also have a super cute puppy called Lexi; she's a Border-Collie-cross-Kelpie and loves reminding me to put my shoes away haha! 😊 That's why I am here to help you achieve your academic goals - trust me, I've been there and know exactly how you feel! Together, we can identify your strengths and weaknesses and improve both your subject knowledge, and your overall confidence and approach to your studies. We can focus on whatever learning style works best for you, and study tips are readily available. I'm also more than happy to share how I managed my busy schedule during high school, and teach you how to optimise your time to do the same! AND it’s not just me who does this: I work with an online education company called Keep it Simple Academics (Or KIS Academics for short) - a technology driven organisation that hires the best staff and the best tutors (the top 3% to be exact) Here's our website. While individual tutoring sessions with me tend to fill up pretty quickly, you can get in touch via the link below, or give me a call on. We have over 100 tutors catering to students from VIC, NSW, QLD, WA, SA curriculums. No matter whether you’re after subject specific tutoring, study skills and High Performance Programs or have a specific price point you’re looking for - KIS Academics will cater for you. Private tutoring starting from $60 per hour with the first session FREE. High Performance Online Courses for only $8 per week. Why search through thousands of tutors without knowing how good they are, when we’ve already trained, vetted and selected the best in the state? As with all tutoring, SPOTS ARE LIMITED. Sign up for private tutoring from years 5-12 or any of our online courses. Enrolments WILL fill up quickly.

Sarah is a very thorough and personable tutor who asked many questions to identify her students area of need. She is very knowledgeable in her subjects and was able to break questions and concepts down into understandable portions. I would highly recommend her as a tutor, not only for the excelling student who wants to polish, but also the student who is finding things though and perhaps need concepts explaining in a different way. Sarah is also good to speak with about planning and time management of study in the lead up to exams and assessments. 10/10, highly recommend her as a tutor.

Sarah is an amazing tutor! Her patience and confidence in me helped me become confident in myself, and I never would have been able to achieve the top mark in my chemistry assignment without her. She really helped me understand the basics, and then learn how to tackle harder problems. I would highly recommend Sarah!
