University student in Sydney - Teaches Visual Arts & English (Preliminary/HSC). Visual Arts: I have a strong passion for art theory & history, artistic practice, photography and moving image, which initially stemmed from the love and enjoyment of my high school studies in Visual Arts. I would love to tutor students (particularly Year 11 and Year 12) in the subject of Visual Arts as I believe it is one of the most unique, enjoyable, and rewarding subjects, and one that can truly assist in honing artistic skills - both theoretical and practical - that can be used and continued in Tertiary Education and beyond. Teaches in-depth studies of art history, art theory, and art criticism, all indicative within the NESA course syllabuses for Preliminary and HSC Visual Arts. Also will provide insightful marking and feedback on practical Visual Arts projects (Major Works) and written essays for the subject, in order to propel your work to a higher level. English: I have a strong passion for english literature, creative/essay writing, and critical text analysis. I would love to tutor high school students in the subject of English as I believe that it is the most important and contextually rich subject. It not only teaches students that core English literature and texts are timeless in their themes, but it also provides students with critical thinking skills that can be applied anywhere; in other subjects, in Tertiary Education, or beyond. Teaches in-depth studies of English texts, essay writing, and creative writing, all indicative within the NESA course syllabuses for Preliminary and HSC English. Also will work with students on their prescribed texts and written essays in order to heighten their understanding of critical analysis of literature, and how to structure a well-rounded essay.
