About
Hi there! My name is Charlotte and I am a high school tutor with further expertise in Year 11 and 12 VCE subjects :)
In 2024 I graduated from the University of Melbourne with a Bachelor of Arts having majored in Psychology and minored in Law.
Presently, I am completing a Master of Teaching (Secondary) at Australian Catholic University.
Truthfully I have always loved learning and helping others in whatever ways I can and both my high school and undergraduate years were driven by these goals. In high school, my favourite and best subjects included English, Psychology, Legal Studies and Business Management (and evidently not much has changed!). However for some, I recognise that these pose a challenge and that’s honestly my favourite part - I love being able to work with students in ways that can help them to grow their confidence and remove the dread they feel towards these subjects.
With over five years of tutoring experience, I have refined my skills, particularly in remote teaching methods. Given that the majority of my university classes are conducted online, I maintain a flexible schedule, attending in-person classes only two days a week. This flexibility allows me to accommodate both last-minute and scheduled tutoring sessions with ease. I also possess a valid Working With Children card.
My tutoring style has and will always remain tailored to the unique abilities and preferences of my students because I know first hand that there is no one right way to learn nor any such thing as a ‘perfect’ student. As such, I aim to create and maintain an environment where my students can feel comfortable to ask questions and realise their academic aspirations.

Charlottte improved my english skills drastically. I went from averaging 70% in year 11 to 90% in year 12, and I am not potentially going to get a study score of 40 or above. This is all because of Charlotte. Each session has a specific focus and she knows the areas I need to work on, so creates exercises and allocates prompts to direct target these flaws. Not only was each session high quality but Charlotte would often go overtime to ensure all my work and goals were completed. Additionally in the final couple of weeks leading up to the final exam, Charlotte worked tirelessly to make space for all of her year 12's and I got to see her 5 times within 1 week. She was working 12 hours days, with no stop or rest. I could not recommend Charlotte enough!!

I could not recommend Charlotte more, she helped me all the way through year 11 and 12, improving my writing so much than what I thought was ever possible, she is devoted to all her students and makes you work hard. She gave me the confidence, and believes in you when you don’t always believe in yourself. She takes the time to always gives you feedback to improve and be there whenever you need!

Honestly cannot express how grateful I am to have come across charlotte as a tutor for English unit 3&4, i literally saw a huge difference in the way my sac performance and overall language skills went up! She is so dedicated to always providing valuable insight and feedback, as well as just being a great encouragement during such a stressful season. I have been able to work with Charlotte for majority of Year 12 for english, psychology and legal studies. Charlotte was extremely helpful in helping me get my academics back on track and as a result I've felt prepared for all my exams. Charlotte has a lot of different resources and notes that have helped me understand content when I didn't understand it in class. I highly recommend contacting her if you need extra assistance with school because personally I know how much of my success in year 12 can be attributed from the sessions I have had with Charlotte.

Loved Charlotte!! She was honestly so helpful throughout my studies of psychology and legal and really helped further consolidate my knowledge. The way she explains terminology and content is really helpful, and has definitely helped my advance further in my grades.
