Online Tutoring Only! Hey! I'm Neha and I'm currently studying a Bachelor of Dental Surgery at the University of Adelaide. I graduated from Baulkham Hills High School in 2021, an academically selective school, and received a band 6 in both maths extension 1 (46/50) and maths advanced (96/100). I'm offering tutoring services across maths and science from years 7-10, as well as Maths Advanced and Extension 1 (3 unit) for years 11 and 12. I aim to work closely with my students one-on-one, to provide them with the help they need to achieve their academic goals, by tailoring my tutoring style to each students varying abilities. As a student, I was able to understand key learning strategies, allowing me to grasp concepts quickly and gain not only a surface level, but an in-depth understanding of certain concepts and as a tutor this is what I aim to help my students achieve. In regards to my experience with maths, I think the key to doing well comes with understanding the concepts thoroughly and doing plenty of practice questions to consolidate your knowledge. In order to achieve this, I will break down topics into smaller sections to allow students to grasp a thorough understanding, whilst providing tips and tricks to various types of questions whatever they may be. In terms of science, I have a thorough understanding of the topic and have a keen passion for the subject, thus I will be able to assist my students in obtaining a thorough knowledge in all topics, rather than just memorising, as this is what I feel allowed me to succeed in my junior high school years.
