Hi hi! My name's Karen, I'm a VCE Mathematics teacher at a private grammar school. I've been teaching for eight years, and tutoring for fifteen! My goal for all of my students is to boost their confidence and resilience; Maths can be a scary subject sometimes and I can be your biggest support! :) I am available only on Saturdays and weeknights, and do my tutoring via Webex.
Pros of online teaching:
-You can send me materials you would like to go through in advance.
-I can easily annotate lesson notes and worked examples as we cover the material, saving everything at the end of each lesson for you to keep as a PDF.
-No travel; just turn up on Webex!
-Teaching CAS calculator usage and other digital technologies is much easier online, especially when covering exam-style questions.
Price:
- One-on-one tutoring is $60/hour.
- Bring a friend and it will be reduced to $40/hour each!
