STATE RANK ECONOMICS (5th) | 99.55 | 2000+ hrs experience HSC All Rounder | HSC Distinguished Achiever Hey! My name is Rohan and I am a recent graduate of Epping Boys High School. I received a 99.55 ATAR and came 5th in the state for Economics (98). I am now currently studying a Bachelor of Economics and Laws at the University of Sydney. Graduating in 2021 was challenging for myself and many other HSC students. My experience of studying during the lockdown period had allowed me to understand the true value of receiving guidance and advice. As such, this has fuelled my enthusiasm and motivation to be a dedicated and easily approachable tutor during these tough times. Moreover, through my experience as a recent Year 12 student and having conducted over 2000+ hours of tutoring, I am very familiar with the syllabus of the subjects that I am tutoring (Economics, English Advanced). When conducting my lessons, I do not focus on simply memorising the textbook or rote learning. Instead, what I have found to be incredibly important is to spend time on understanding the actual fundamentals of a concept and working through what will actually be tested in the exam. Through this approach, answering any question (multiple choice, short answer, essay) will become a smooth process and one that is second nature. In addition, students will also have access to my resources (notes, practice questions and essays) which are all Band 6 quality.
