Hannah was an exceptional tutor with extensive and thorough knowledge of the Advanced and Extension 1 English courses, with which she greatly helped me to continuously learn and improve my performance for the HSC. Despite having ended Year 11 with a triple digit rank, with Hannahโs personalised guidance I was able to end Year 12 within the top 20 of JRAHS. Hannahโs excellent organisational skills also stood out to me, and with her openness to questions about and beyond English - which she answered leaving no doubts - she is definitely a dedicated tutor who wholeheartedly supports her students.

Hannah was incredibly supportive and dedicated throughout the HSC. She always made time to provide exceptionally detailed feedback, and took a hands-on approach to planning and writing essays that gave me the skills necessary to confidently construct and adapt essays both before and during examinations. Hannah's fantastic advice and abundant resources definitely helped my performance over the year, as after working with her, I managed to improve from a 15 to a 19 for Common Module, and scored full marks for the Module C creative.

Hannah was a really amazing tutor! Throughout the whole year, she was willing to mark countless essays and creative drafts and provided extremely detailed feedback. We also spent a lot of time in extra lessons polishing up essays and working on adapting to questions- I believe this dedication was really reflected in my marks, as I got full marks in mod C!

Even though I was only with Hannah for my trials and externals, she has greatly improved my essays. Before trials I couldn't get above 17, but in trials I significantly improved. This was due to a combination of her going through each line of my essay to make sure it was good, as well as her teaching me the necessary skills of how to adapt to questions. Having recently completed the Eng Advanced external, I feel confident about my marks.

Hannah is a great tutor. She really knows what the teachers are looking for and helps you construct your essay accordingly. This was 100% reflected in my marks. For example, my Mod A essay was a 15 in the first assessment but got a 20 in trials. I never would have expected I would do so consistently well in english. You can tell she really cares about her students, beyond just english. Cannot thank hannah enough

Hannah has been my tutor since year 11 and I have excelled under her guidance. For advanced english, I finished 3rd in my cohort with full marks in Mod A, B and C, and only marks lost in short answers. She has a comprehensive understanding of the texts she teaches with fantastic resources that she is very willing to share. Hannah also makes time at the end of each lesson to go through 1-2 medical interview questions to help me improve little by little. I am very excited to continue with Hannah for interview prep after my externals - she really is the best tutor I have ever come across. Outside of lessons she is always willing to support me with her kind and friendly manner. Honestly, going to Hannah is extremely worthwhile - she knows that busy HSC students just want to do what gets marks, so she makes each lesson very focussed on improving the essay quality, rather than going too far into depth on other things that don't necessarily help the essay overall. I cannot praise Hannah high enough and will always continue to vouch for her as a tutor! :)

Hannah is an awesome tutor. I was halfway through Year 12 at rockbottom in English with a triple digit rank - but when I joined her I skyrocketed to Top 15 marks for both Task 3 and Trials. Hannah was an amazing English Advanced tutor! She would meticulously go over my essays during lessons and pinpointed mistakes that I otherwise wouldn't have realised. With her help, English became much more easier to tackle, and I saw an improvement in my grades. Her support wasn't limited just to lessons - she provided great essay feedback, essay notes and exemplars and many resources. Hannah always encouraged me to contact her about anything - from English essay questions to medical interviews and choosing medical schools - which shows how much effort and time she puts into each student.

Hannah is the most diligent and dedicated tutor out there! Apart from her easy going and kind demeanour, lessons with her are always productive and left me feeling confident about my essays. During exam season Hannah would always be easy to contact, constantly replying to my messages and any small questions I had as well as marking my essays for me daily even if it meant at 4 or 5 am. Even only during the last term between the trial and HSC period, Hannah has greatly improved my essays especially as while she not only goes over what mistakes can be fixed, but she rewrites your own sentences, so you can see yourself the improvement in your work. Also her interview training for UNSW was especially useful in gaining additional insight and tips specifically related to UNSW and not just any university in general.

Through the past few terms alone, Hannah has improved my essays from 16 in first assessment to 20 in the trials for the same module. She has heavily reworked my essays with me and is always available to review my essays for free, especially late at night before an assignment is due. Being a student with her, she has also given me access to unlimited resources such as past exemplar essays and stimulus material.

No joke, Hannah saved my English grade for my HSC last year. My internal my rank was 120 before I started English tutoring in term 3. After Hannah showed me her essay writing technique my trials ranking was around a 60. What a drastic improvement! My only regret is not taking her on earlier in the year THANKS!

Hannah has been a constant support throughout my trials. She helped me go from a low B-range to consistent 19s and 20s across all modules. While some tutors just simply tell you what is wrong with your work, Hannah actually shows you how to fix it by rewriting some of your sentences so you can properly see the correct way to write it with a direct example from your own work. She also has a large collection of exemplars for all modules, as well as her own essays that she also shares, which I found to be really beneficial too. I have been with Hannah for 3 assessments so far and my rank has improved from 76 to 14.

Hannah Ku was an excellent tutor! I came to her barely getting As in my english exams and came to Hannah being ranked 89th at the end of year 11. Her excellent attentiveness to helping my improve my essay writing and going over texts in detail and even marking all my essays when I sent them over to her at 4am helped me to get consistent As in year 12. She also encouraged me to consistently practice my reading paper questions and provided extensive feedback which helped me to get top marks in common module. At the end of year 12, I was ranked 11th in my cohort!! I highly recommend Hannah to anyone who is struggling with English as she is very knowledgeable, provides personalised help and provides lots of individualised feedback which a lot of other tutors do not.
