Currently studying Computer Science and Mathematics at Monash University. I graduated from an Indonesian high school in 2020, studying (among others) Maths, Advanced Maths, Indonesian, English, and Physics. I graduated with an average mark of 91.5% (SMA100% scale). I spent 8 years in Australia and 12 years in Indonesia, and thus am proficient at a native level in both English and Indonesian. During my time in High School, I taught English public speaking to my juniors. I handled both one-on-one sessions as well as group sessions with up to 20 students. This demonstrated my ability to teach communication skills in languages, even if it is not the student's first language. My teaching method focuses on practical skills, so student's may go beyond simply memorizing language theory. In my degree I cover topics such as algebra, discrete maths, analysis, matrices, and many more. I am keen on teaching not just how to use mathematics, but how to see the beauty and structure of mathematics. I also have an interest in demonstrating how mathematics is applied in the field of computer graphics. I tailor my sessions around the needs and desires of students. This can take the form of discussing specific questions, conversation practice, or going over the curriculum to identify important points. I take note of areas where students excel and struggle in, and further modify my teaching methods to accommodate students' capabilities. First session is 50% off as it is a trial session. Hourly rate may vary depending on hours requested and amount of students.
