ABOUT ME: I am currently studying computer science and commerce at the University of Sydney. I currently have active interests in AI, which surprisingly uses many of the mathematic techniques taught in the IB. MY BEST IB SUBJECTS: My best subjects in the IB were Math AI HL, Physics SL and Spanish ab initio, where I received a 7 in each of these subjects. My other subjects were Economics HL, Geography HL and English Lit SL, where I received 6's in each of these subjects. MY TEACHING STYLE AND HOW I CAN HELP YOU: When I teach I adapt to each of my student's learning styles whether they are a visual learner, kinesthetic learner etc, so they can learn more effectively. When teaching new concepts, I explore the applications of the concepts with my students, while teaching the subject matter. I believe that teaching the real-world applications of knowledge is important as it links our conceptual understanding to our real-world understanding, greater solidifying concepts. Additionally, for each of my students, rather than taking a pure memorisation approach, I aim to improve their problem solving and critical thinking skills, so that they can be ready for any question in an exam.
