[Master of Teaching student. 5+ years of tutoring experience.] Hi, I'm Imogen! I am in the final stages of a Master of Teaching (Secondary) at UNSW, specialising in English. I have completed all of my English courses for teaching Years 7-12 English, including the Standard and Advanced courses. Before that, I completed a Bachelor of Arts at UNSW, majoring in English with a minor in Psychology. On my placement, I was rated "exceeded expectations" for almost every Australian Professional Standard for pre-service teachers. My supervisor also praised my rigorous planning, dedication to teaching and the rapport I built with my students. I have been tutoring for over five years, working with students from early high school through to the HSC. I completed my HSC in 2021 with a 93.70 ATAR and achieved a Band 6 in English Advanced, Studies of Religion II and Visual Arts. I tutor online in: - English (Years 7-10) - English (Years 11 & 12, Standard & Advanced) - Visual Arts - Studies of Religion I & II What you get: - Lessons planned by a trained English teacher, matched to the NSW syllabus and your personal goals. - Band 6 level essay scaffolds and sample paragraphs. - Essay editing and personalised feedback on work. I care about my students as learners and as people. Whether you are building foundations in Year 7 or aiming for a Band 6 in the HSC, I can help you get there!
