Shortly after taking my Victorian Certificate of Education (VCE), I sat the Goethe Zertifikat C1 exam and passed. This qualifies me as a proficient speaker of German under the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR), permitting me to take university courses that are completely in German.
