⭐ First Class Honours ⭐ 99+ ATAR ⭐ 83.65 WAM ⭐ Hey I'm Ariana! I am currently doing a PhD on Cancer Genetics at the University of Sydney, and have received First Class Honours last year. I have also completed the Bachelor of Science (Medical Science) with a WAM of 83.65, with a double major in Medical Science and Comparative Literature. I was in the high-achieving Dalyell Scholars Program throughout the degree and went to the University of Pennsylvania (UPenn) for a semester exchange as well! I have an ATAR of 99+ and have kept High Distinction and Distinction throughout my years at university, which consisted of several World Literature, Biology and Chemistry units of study. I am prepared to tutor English, English/World Literature, Maths, Biology, Chemistry and Economics to students in grades 7-12. I am extremely determined in all my academic pursuits, and have no doubt that I will be equally enthusiastic whilst tutoring my students. I have varied interests ranging from Literature to Medicine, and I think this will help teaching students from different study backgrounds. Moreover, I have stayed in several different countries during my childhood, such as Bangladesh, Malaysia and South Korea. These experiences will certainly make it easier for me to interact with students from different cultures, which will in turn help them improve their grades. I have prior experience in teaching English and Mathematics in middle school. I volunteered at a community school named Chittagong Grammar School Dhaka (CGSD) located in Dhaka, Bangladesh where I taught underprivileged children. This has made me realise that all children have the capacity to improve themselves, but might need a little help from their surroundings. Thus, I would be honoured to help students in their journey through high school in any way possible!
