Looking for a 99.45 ATAR tutor to provide more than just homework and assessment help? Want the latest information on WACE marking guides and minimising those frustrating 'dumb mistakes'? My name is Elise Hilder and I graduated in the class of 2021 with an ATAR of 99.45.
I am currently studying a Bachelor of Science at the University of Western Australia, double majoring in Geology and Japanese (minoring in Chemistry).
What you get:
Of course I will help with subject homework and test preparation, but I endeavour to make my sessions as tailored to the individual as possible to ensure the most improvement. As a result, I can do the following other things during sessions:

- Deeper/varied teaching of the topic (for better understanding)
- Provision of resources (from worksheets, to past exams to personal notes)
- Study plan/advice (everything from how to construct effective notes, to time management to how to comprehensively study everything for an exam)
- (Year 12) Insider knowledge into the tricky points of the WACE marking key from 2021 WACE markers (key to not losing simple marks - they add up!) and possible assessment topics for the 2024 and 2025 WACE exams (speculation only!)
- Anything else to help with educational development

PACES:
These are exclusive tuition sessions run by the WA Education Department for students in public schools who scored very highly during year 11. I was chosen for the sessions for Economics and Chemistry and attended all sessions during year 11 and 12. Since the teachers were highly experienced, and in contact with some of the 2021 WACE exam markers, I was given some advice from those markers, and clarifications on answering types of questions for each subject, making my information most useful for year 12's seeking that edge on refining their exam and test technique. I can also share the past exams and other helpful resources with from these sessions with my students.
COVID-19:
To ensure the safety of myself and my students, I will conduct all in-person lessons in accordance with the WA Health authority's recommendations (i.e. wearing a mask, etc). Any in-person sessions that must be cancelled due to COVID-19 restrictions will immediately be exchanged for online lessons (unless there is a prior arrangement).
