(99.80 ATAR | 100 in physics) Hi, I'm Sam!! I'm studying a bachelor of science in mathematics and statistics at the University of Melbourne. I graduated year 12 in Queensland with an ATAR of 99.80. I scored: 100/100 in physics 99/100 in specialist mathematics 99/100 in mathematical methods 97/100 in general English 95/100 in economics 95/100 in modern history I am very keen to provide online tutoring in any of these subjects!!! I completed high school in Queensland so I am highly familiar with the Queensland subject matter for online tutoring. I've been through it all so I know the tricks that help you hit the top band of the ISMGs. I also focus on having a deep understanding of content, always questioning why a formula/model/chain of logic is true rather than simply memorising and applying it. My teaching style is focused around answering your questions (and explaining or proving concepts to you), helping with assigned tasks (e.g. working through problems, helping edit assignments), taking you ahead in content or creating practice questions for you which I will help you through. I am very flexible and happy to accommodate for whatever style best fits you. During high school I was a part of our academic support committee, which involved tutoring younger students and holding seminars in preparation for exams for students in our own grade. I have also tutored privately for 4 years now. You can trust that I have plenty of experience with many types of learners.
