About
Hi! My name is Rachel and I graduated Meriden School in 2021 with an ATAR of 98.40. I am eager to help year 11 and 12 students looking for a mathematics tutor
My aim is to improve students' problem solving, analytical and critical thinking skills to help them understand heavy concepts and answer difficult exam questions. During lessons, I will always engage with my students to ensure they are comfortable in one concept before I progress to more challenging ones, thus encouraging them to feel confident in their learning. Outside of lessons, I maintain contact with students to discuss their school content that week and identify gaps in understanding, all of which will be addressed and strengthened in my class.
As a recent graduate, I have a highly comprehensive understanding of the NESA syllabus, study techniques, and what is expected to meet HSC markers' expectations. Ultimately, by providing a variety of high-quality academic resources, I seek to develop students' proficiency in examination skills, which will help them perform at a top level for school assessments and the HSC.
